No. It's stainless steel with an 18k gold plating, which is lighter on the wallet and doesn't rust. Keep it away from perfume and chlorine and take it off to swim so the plating lasts longer.
Are the pearls real?
They're a pearl-look inlay, not natural pearls.

Care
Real leather is a natural material, so small marks, creases and slight colour differences between bags are normal, and it softens and darkens a little with use. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth, keep it out of long rain and direct heat, and store it stuffed with paper so it keeps its shape. A leather conditioner once or twice a year keeps it supple.
